REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology can help relieve many health conditions. It is an ancient healing technique that is based on treating the whole body; it involves stimulating the body's natural healing system by stimulation of reflex points on the feet. The different points located on the bottom of the foot and toes correspond to certain areas of the body. It is an alternative method of treatment which is thought to have begun in China over 5,000 years ago.

Reflexology therapy involves pressure being given to the soles and upper part of the foot. The points on the soles of your foot that are being massaged are very small and it is possible that you will feel dramatic results after your first treatment.

It works by activating the reflexes in the feet which correspond with the reflexes in the body this then encourages a healing response and allows the body to heal itself. Most illnesses are caused by stress and Reflexology is a therapy which is extremely relaxing and beneficial to many health conditions including:

  • Headaches and sinus pain.
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Hormone and PMT problems
  • Arthritis
  • Digestive Problems
  • and many other conditions
